On Apranga Group preliminary profit in ten months of 2007


The leader of retail apparel market in Lithuania and the Baltic States Apranga
Group has earned LTL 26.8 million (EUR 7.8 million) unaudited profit before
taxes in January through October 2007, or by 47.3% more comparing to last
year's result (LTL 18.2 million (EUR 5.3 million)). 

The turnover of Apranga Group retail chain has made LTL 354.3 million (EUR
102.6 million) in January through October 2007, increasing by 48.5% comparing
to 2006. 

In 2007 Apranga Group has already opened or reconstructed 28 stores. There will
be Zara store opened in Tallinn, and Mexx store opened in Riga till the
year-end. 

Currently Apranga Group runs chain of 81 operating stores in the Baltics with
general area of 52.5 thousand sq. m. The stores' area has increased by 14
thousand sq. m. during 2007. 

Apranga Group is owned by the concern MG Baltic.
