Metsäliitto Group acquires from Tapiola Group 14.4% of the shares of its subsidiary Metsä Tissue

Metsäliitto Group Stock Exchange Release, 30 November, 2007

Metsäliitto Cooperative has acquired today shares of its subsidiary
Metsä Tissue from Tapiola Group. Metsäliitto's holding in Metsä
Tissue has previously been 56.1%, and the holding increases today by
14.4% being altogether 70.5%.

After the acquisition the ownership division of Metsä Tissue is as
follows: Metsäliitto 70.5%, Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company
8.4%, the insurance company Sampo Life 6.1% and Jozef Antosík 15.0%.
