HealthSport Launches PediaStrips With Meijer's SuperCenters

Midwest Retailer Becomes First to Market Enlyten's PediaStrips

AMHERST, N.Y., Dec. 6, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- HealthSport, Inc.(OTCBB:HSPO), a fully integrated developer, manufacturer and marketer of branded nutritional supplements in a one-of-a-kind edible film strip delivery system, announced today that Midwest retail giant, Meijer, has agreed to purchase and sell Enlyten PediaStrips (http://enlytenstrips.com). This innovative new product formulated by InnoZen, Inc., HealthSport's research and manufacturing facility, provides an edible film strip-delivery system that contains sodium, potassium and chloride. PediaStrips are designed to deliver these electrolytes to children who are at risk for dehydration due to vomiting or diarrhea.

Meijer is a Grand Rapids, Michigan-based retailer, operating 181 SuperCenters throughout Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio and Kentucky (www.meijer.com). As one of the inventors of the "one-stop shopping" concept, Meijer stores have evolved through the years to include expanded fresh produce and meat departments, as well as pharmacies, comprehensive electronics departments, garden centers and apparel offerings.

"If people haven't heard of PediaStrips, they will soon. PediaStrips will be in demand by parents, especially as our society looks for products that are easy to use, safe for children and portable. Meijer is a respected retailer that focuses on sourcing innovative products for their customers, and it is their commitment to growth that led the retailer to be the first to market Enlyten PediaStrips. Meijer's purchase order lays the groundwork for expanding our retail partners across the country," said Gary Thomas, HealthSport's V.P. of Sales.

About Enlyten PediaStrips

Enlyten PediaStrips rapidly dissolve in the mouth and deliver the active ingredients through the oral mucosa. PediaStrips contain permeation enhancers, which increase electrolyte absorption in the oral mucosa, bypassing absorption through the child's ailing digestion system. In the past, electrolyte replacement has only been available as a liquid rehydration solution. Children who are ill may struggle to drink these products due to large recommended doses or because they dislike the taste.

In addition, Enlyten PediaStrips deliver essential electrolytes to children without sugar or other non-essential additives, an important feature for parents. Enlyten PediaStrips will bring an exciting change to a relatively stagnant retail category, monopolized by liquid rehydration solutions. Retailers want to attract moms within all product categories, and PediaStrips offer an innovative product that will drive sales.

PediaStrips provide a unique, easy way to give children electrolytes without fluid, which allows children to choose any beverage they prefer. Parents can feel good because they know kids are getting the electrolytes they need, even if they only drink water. PediaStrips comes in three great flavors: orange, grape and berry.
