City National Bank Hires Prominent Nevadan and Experienced Banker in Its Corporate Banking Group


LAS VEGAS, Dec. 7, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- City National Bank today announced that its has hired longtime Nevadan and prominent banker Keith Beagle as vice president and relationship manager in its Corporate Banking Group. Prior to joining City National, Beagle was CEO of The Keith Beagle Company, a firm that focused on business management and healthcare consulting. He also served as senior vice president for i/mx, Inc., and subsidiaries, which was affiliated with NevadaCare, Inc., where he served seven years as president of the HMO Company. He also served as chief operating officer for a number of years for Northern Nevada Health Network in the Reno area.

Beagle spent nearly 10 years working in the banking industry before pursuing a second career in the healthcare industry. Prior to leaving the banking industry in 1991, Beagle worked for Valley Bank of Nevada as a vice president of Corporate Business Development. He also spent time as a real estate loan officer for Valley Bank in the mid-to-late 1980s. Beagle began his banking career in 1982 as a commercial loan officer with American Federal Savings, staff appraiser for Eagle Appraisal Services and loan officer for TMC Financial, which were subsidiary companies of American Federal. Beagle also served for four years in the United States Navy.

Beagle will be housed in the bank's new regional banking facilities in Summerlin at 10801 W. Charleston Boulevard near the Red Rock Resort and Spa and I-215. He will report to Vince Telles, senior vice president and manager of Corporate Banking, and be responsible for loan underwriting, relationship and risk management, and customer retention and business development of existing and new clients. Beagle will work very closely with the bank's branch relationship managers to help grow the bank's loan portfolio with quality customers and credit requests.

Beagle is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. He also earned a degree from the Omega Commercial Lending School. Beagle has received a number of course certificates from various Sales, Marketing and Lending professional seminars, including the American Institute of Banking (AIB).

Beagle is actively involved in various trade and community organizations, including past chairman of Nevada Association of Health Plans, board member of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability, executive board member and past president of Junior Achievement of Northern Nevada, member of the Nevada Development Authority, Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce and Sierra Arts Foundation.
