Diego Zamora will use OnWeb to transform its commercial application area and continue to modernize ERP (AS/400) applications for its purchase, finance and production systems, as well as create mobile applications for the company's commercial force.
In an effort to create a familiar and more intuitive environment for its commercial users, Diego Zamora sought a solution that would quickly and efficiently integrate its current applications by transforming them into Web services. The company was fully invested in its existing ERP system, but needed a way to reduce the time and cost of new user training. With NetManage's OnWeb, the initial pilot project for the commercial application took only 15 development days to complete. During that development time, Diego Zamora was also able to carry out a careful analysis of all current application screens in order to establish an overall strategy for future development plans.
