Kesko's sales increased by 4.8% in November

The Kesko Group's sales, excluding VAT, in November 2007 totalled
€803.4 million, an increase of 4.8% over the corresponding period
in the previous year. In January-November the sales, excluding
VAT, were €8,846.2 million, up 9.6% on the previous year. In
January-November, the sales of foreign operations were €2,013.4
million, accounting for 23% of the Group's sales.

Kesko Food's sales increased by 7.7% in November. The sales of all
chains developed positively. Sales growth was particularly good in
the K-citymarket chain, amounting to 13.5%.

Rautakesko's sales grew by 15.5% to €216.7 million in November.
Sales in Finland were up by 6.9%. Abroad, sales increased by
20.1%. In the Baltic countries, sales increased by 19.9% and in
Russia by 26.0%.

VV-Auto's sales were €35.2 million in November, which was 29.1%
less than in the previous year. In Finland, the first
registrations of passenger cars decreased by 58.1% in November.
The market share of passenger cars represented by VV-Auto was
11.3% (11.4%). The change in the car tax, announced by the
government on 1 November 2007, postponed a significant number of
passenger car deliveries to customers to 2008.

Anttila's sales in November were €53.6 million, which was at the
level of the previous year. The sales of Kodin Ykkönen department
stores increased by 3.1% and those of Anttila department stores by
2.0%. Home technology sales developed well.

Kesko Agro's sales in November were €71.0 million, up 10.3%. Sales
in Finland increased by 0.3%. Sales in the Baltic countries grew
by 29.4%, which can be attributed to the good sales of machinery
and grain.

Other operating activities consist of Konekesko, Intersport
Finland, Indoor Group, Musta Pörssi, Kenkäkesko, Tähti Optikko
Group and Kauko-Telko.

Starting from 1 March 2006, VV-Auto's sales figures include the
sales of the new Volkswagen and Audi retail outlets acquired.

Kesko is looking into opportunities to dispose of Kauko-Telko.
Kauko-Telko will be classified as a discontinuing operation in
compliance with the IFRS 5 when it meets the criteria of the
standard.

Starting from July, Rautakesko's sales figures include the sales
of OMA, Rautakesko subsidiary Senukai's subsidiary in Belarus.

Change, % indicates the change over the corresponding period in
the previous year.

In November 2007, the number of trading days in Kesko's wholesale
was 22, which was the same as in November 2006. The total number
of trading days was one more than in the previous year.

Kesko publishes advance information about the K-Group's retail
sales quarterly, in connection with the interim financial reports.
