NCC to build light rail in Bergen for SEK 525 million

NCC Construction AS in Norway has been commissioned by the City of Bergen to
build two stages of the new Bybanan light rail in Bergen. The total order value
is approximately SEK 525 million and work will begin in January 2008.

The largest contract of approximately SEK 424 million relates to 3.2 kilometers
of light rail, which will be prepared for a future double track and includes the
section from Fantoft to Nestum. A part of this section will run above ground and
another will run through two existing tunnels.

Work on this section will begin in January 2008 and is scheduled for completion
in January 2010. In total, NCC will have about 150 people working on
construction of this section, which includes ground work, concrete work and
tunnel work.

The smaller component of the assignment (SEK 101 million) is an 800-meter
section that will be prepared for double track operation and will also include
the renovation and construction of bridges.

Work on the shorter phase will also begin in January 2008 and is scheduled for
completion in January 2009. About 60 people will be involved in this subproject.

The order will be registered in the first quarter of 2008.
