Duane Reade Added to Retail Partners With HealthSport Product

Major Retailer Brings PediaStrips to NY City

AMHERST, N.Y., Dec. 17, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- HealthSport, Inc.(OTCBB:HSPO), a fully integrated developer, manufacturer and marketer of branded nutritional supplements in a one-of-a-kind edible film-strip delivery system, announced today that Duane Reade, NY City based drugstore chain, has purchased Enlyten PediaStrips (http://pediastrips.com) to be carried in their 250 stores. This innovative new product formulated by InnoZen, Inc., HealthSport's research and manufacturing facility, provides an edible film-strip delivery system that contains sodium, potassium and chloride. PediaStrips are designed to deliver these electrolytes to children who are at risk for dehydration due to vomiting or diarrhea.

"Having distribution in the Duane Reade stores is another key piece in the roll out of PediaStrips. They have fantastic locations in one of the busiest cities in the world, and understand the fast paced New York customer and the products they are looking for. Our unique portable product is a perfect fit for their customer base," stated Gary Thomas, HealthSport's V.P. of Sales.

Duane Reade (www.duanereade.com) takes its name from the company's first successful full-service drugstore, which opened in 1960 on Broadway between Duane and Reade Streets in Manhattan. Since then, Duane Reade has grown to become the most recognized drugstore chain in metropolitan New York. Today, the Company operates over 250 stores in commercial and residential neighborhoods throughout New York. Duane Reade's conveniently located stores carry an extensive assortment of items, including those from the pharmacy, as well as vitamins, nutritional products, cosmetics, greeting cards and photo processing.

About Enlyten PediaStrips

Enlyten PediaStrips (http://pediastrips.com) rapidly dissolve in the mouth and deliver the active ingredients through the oral mucosa. PediaStrips contain permeation enhancers, which increase electrolyte absorption in the oral mucosa, bypassing absorption through the child's ailing digestion system. In the past, electrolyte replacement has only been available as a liquid rehydration solution. Children who are ill may struggle to drink these products due to large recommended doses or because they dislike the taste.

In addition, Enlyten PediaStrips deliver essential electrolytes to children without sugar or other non-essential additives, an important feature for parents. Enlyten PediaStrips will bring an exciting change to a relatively stagnant retail category, monopolized by liquid rehydration solutions. Retailers want to attract moms within all product categories, and PediaStrips offer an innovative product that will drive sales.

PediaStrips provide a unique, easy way to give children electrolytes without fluid, which allows children to choose any beverage they prefer. Parents can feel good because they know kids are getting the electrolytes they need, even if they only drink water. PediaStrips comes in three great flavors: berry, orange, and grape.
