Letter of intent between GE Healthcare Finland Oy and PULSION / Licensing
and integration of PiCCO-Technology for GE’s Modular Monitoring Solutions


Munich, December 17, 2007 -- GE Healthcare, the US$17 billion healthcare
business of global technology, media and financial services company,
General Electric Company (GE), and PULSION Medical Systems AG, the supplier
of industry renowned PiCCO technology, announced today the signing of a
letter of intent on licensing such technology to GE Healthcare. GE
Healthcare has plans to incorporate Pulsion’s PiCCO technology as part of
its hemodynamic monitoring offering.

'The incorporation of PULSION’s PiCCO - the market leading technology in
less invasive advanced hemodynamic monitoring - as an option into GE
Healthcare’s modular monitors will support the market’s needs,' explained
Bradley Gould, CEO of PULSION Medical Systems. 'The intention is to deliver
a complete solution to healthcare providers, which will ultimately benefit
both the clinicians and their patients. As GE Healthcare is a major player
worldwide as well as in the US market we are positive that the licensing
arrangement will offer great potential for us to progress in a short time
frame especially in the US.'

In commenting on the timing and importance of this intended
