Important orders from Denmark for SafePay™, Gunnebo's closed cash handling
system

Gunnebo, the international security group, develops, markets and services
SafePay, a system for closed and recirculated cash handling. During the summer
and autumn Gunnebo signed significant SafePay agreements with the COOP Fakta,
Dansk Supermarked and Statoil retail chains in Denmark. This makes SafePay the
leading closed cash handling system on the Danish market. In the case of Statoil
the agreement covers the whole of the Nordic market.

The agreements have so far resulted in orders for 360 systems, which have been
booked in 2007 from COOP Fakta, Dansk Supermarked and Statoil. Including service
contracts the orders are worth a total of around 45 million kronor. Gunnebo is
currently the leading company on the Danish market for closed and recirculated
cash handling systems and the Group is engaged in discussions with several
retail chains in the country.

“We've carried out a thorough evaluation of the system over the past three years
and there hasn't been a single robbery in any of the stores where it is
installed,” says John Ravn, senior controller and head of security at Fakta.
“This means greater security for our employees - and for our customers. We aim
to have SafePay installed in all our stores within five years. SafePay is at
present the only system that meets our specifications for a closed system,” says
John Ravn, “if a cash handling system is to be reliable we need to be sure there
are no weak links in the chain.”

All these retail chains have previously evaluated the SafePay system with good
results. During this evaluation process SafePay's features, including the
emptying unit, have been further developed in cooperation with all three
customers.

“SafePay offers several advantages for small stores as well, and it is pleasing
that none of the stores with SafePay have been the victim of an attempted
robbery,” says Göran Gezelius, Gunnebo's President and CEO. “Together with the
fact that the cashier does not need to touch the coins (thus avoiding nickel
allergy), this is also important for the work environment.”
