On December 19, 2007 Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Lithuanian has
submitted notification about material event concerning the information related
to the negotiation process 

The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Lithuania is hereby disclosing
information through the VSE information system:

Regarding the information related to the negotiation process

The Ministry of Economy informs that the Temporary committee (Working Group)
formed following the July 11, 2007 decision No 726 of the Lithuanian Government
“Regarding the Implementation of the Law on Nuclear Power Plant of the Republic
of Lithuania” discussed the principal provisions of agreements concerning the
establishment of a National Investor. 

The Ministry of Economy provided the Government of the Republic of Lithuania
with information on the negotiation process and proposals for further actions. 

It should be noted that the Temporary committee (Working Group) has not yet
finished the negotiations with the shareholders possessing the major holding in
the public company “VST”`, whereas the information provided to the Government
of the Republic of Lithuania may not be considered the outcome of the
negotiations.
