Supreme Court ruling in The Hague

Tele2 Netherlands Holding, formerly Versatel, has previously
disclosed that it received an additional assessment Wage Tax from the
Dutch tax authorities in June 2002. The total assessment, including
late payment interest, is estimated to be € 17.5 million. Tele2 will
investigate the possibility to reduce the total impact on the
company.
