About the Author

Ed McGuire has a physical disability called Cerebral Palsy. He's often asked how he came up with this idea of The Little Light Bulb. His answer has always been because of his love and talent for drawing. He conceptualizes everything in his mind; he thinks of what the words are saying and how to portray them into pictures.

He comes up with the ideas, draws them on paper, scans them into the computer, and adds color to them. People still find it amazing how he has created a beautiful work of art despite his physical limitations, but he believes that whatever life throws at someone, they will always triumph if they have determination, perseverance, and faith in themselves.
