Release of a Voting Rights announcement

On December 27, 2007, WestLB AG, Herzogstrasse 15, 40217 Düsseldorf,
Germany informed us in accordance with § 21 (1) of the German Securities
Trading Act that the percentage of voting rights in Siemens AG (ISIN
DE0007236101), Wittelsbacherplatz 2, 80333 Munich, Germany held in its
trading portfolio exceeded the thresholds of 5% and 10% on January 25, 2007
and amounted to 11,794% (105,324,984 voting rights).

Futhermore, WestLB AG, Herzogstrasse 15, 40217 Düsseldorf informed us on
the same day in accordance with § 21 (1) of the German Securities Trading
Act that the percentage of voting rights in Siemens AG (ISIN DE0007236101),
Wittelsbacherplatz 2, 80333 Munich, Germany held by it fell below the
threshold of 10% on January 31, 2007 and below the threshold of 5% on
February 9, 2007 and now amounts to 0% (0 voting rights).
