State-of-the-Art In-Flight Entertainment System Operated From Spain


LAKE FOREST, Calif., Jan. 3, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Panasonic Avionics Corporation (Panasonic), a leading global provider of in-flight entertainment (IFE) and communications systems, today announced an order for Panasonic eX2 by Grupo Marsans, the largest tourism and transport group in Spain, for installation on 12 A330-200s, offering passengers the ultimate experience when traveling between Spain and South America.

The order for the Panasonic eX2 in-flight entertainment systems represents a significant development in the group's fleet modernization plan to offer passengers the latest generation of in-flight entertainment. Panasonic eX2 will be installed on two of Grupo Marsans' airline subsidiaries' aircraft: Air Comet and Aerolineas Argentinas, with delivery of the first aircraft in August 2008.
