Release of a Voting Rights announcement

On January 11, 2008, WestLB, Düsseldorf, Germany informed us in a corrected
release in accordance with § 21 (1) of the German Securities Trading Act
(WpHG) that the percentage of voting rights in Siemens AG (ISIN
DE0007236101), Munich, Germany held in its trading portfolio exceeded the
thresholds of 3%, 5% and 10% on January 25, 2007 and amounted to 11.794%
(105,324,984 voting rights).

Furthermore, WestLB, Düsseldorf, Germany informed us in the same corrected
release in accordance with § 21 (1) of the German Securities Trading Act
(WpHG) that the percentage of voting rights in Siemens AG (ISIN
DE0007236101), Munich, Germany held in its trading portfolio fell below the
threshold of 10% to 9.437% (84,282,124 voting rights) on January 31, 2007
and that the percentage of voting rights in Siemens AG (ISIN DE0007236101),
Munich, Germany held in its trading portfolio fell below the threshold of
5% on February 9, 2007 and now amounts to 0% (0 voting rights).
