Elisa has been notified, in accordance with Chapter 2, Section 9 of
the Finnish Securities Market Act, of a change in the company's
ownership as follows:
As a result of an OMX forward contract Novator Finland Oy has entered
into 11 January 2008, the holdings of Novator Finland Oy will, when
such forward contract matures on February 15, 2008, represent more
than three-twentieths (3/20) of the voting rights and the total
number of shares of Elisa Corporation.
Furthermore, as a result of an OMX forward contract Novator Finland
Oy has entered into previously, the holdings of Novator Finland Oy
will, when such forward contract matures on March 3, 2008, fall below
three-twentieths (3/20) of the voting rights and total number of
shares of Elisa Corporation. Therefore, we hereby notify the Finnish
Financial Supervision Authority and Elisa Corporation the following:

B. Novator Finland Oy's exact proportion of the voting rights and
total number of shares in Elisa Corporation will, after the OMX
forward contract regarding 954,110 shares of Elisa Corporation
matures on February 15, 2008, be the following:

D. Description of current shareholdings: As at January 11, 2008,
Novator Finland holds 24,741,680 shares in Elisa Corporation. The
current shareholding includes 2,748,000 shares that Novator Finland
Oy has acquired in the form of OMX forward contracts maturing on
January 18, 2008. Novator Finland Oy has also borrowed the
corresponding amount of shares through OMX stock lending contracts
that mature at same time as the forward contracts and, therefore, the
total shareholding of Novator Finland Oy in Elisa Corporation will be
unaffected at maturity.
E. Shareholding as at February 15, 2008: After the OMX forward
contract matures, Novator Finland Oy's holding in Elisa Corporation
will amount to 25,695,790 shares.
F. Shareholding as at March 3, 2008: After the OMX forward contract
matures, Novator Finland Oy's holding in Elisa Corporation will
amount to 22,795,790 shares.
G. Elisa Corporation's total number of shares is 166,307,586. Each
share carries one voting right, and, therefore, the shares of Elisa
Corporation carry a total of 166,307,586 voting rights.
