Quick Start Wizard for Administrators

Ensim Unify Enterprise now offers a quick-start, step-by-step wizard designed to help system administrators perform post-installation configuration tasks to ensure full functionality is available to administrators.

Enhanced User Management

With the latest version, system administrators can select default groups for a user when creating the user account, lock down user templates, manage user attributes (such as home directory path, home drive letter, profile path, and logon script path), move user accounts from one OU location to another, list a user's group memberships, check availability of a requested user name, and customize the list of user attributes being managed by Unify.

Improved OU Management

Ensim Unify now provides a simplified OU management. The OU structure in Active Directory and any updates to the OU hierarchy are automatically synchronized with Unify. Additionally, administrators can now select the OU location during the provisioning process when creating users, groups or contacts.

Simplified Role Customizations

Using Unify's simplified web-based UI, system administrators can customize and manage administrative rights according to each admin role in just a few simple clicks.

More Configuration Options

System administrators can configure Unify according to their internal business policies. Once configured, Unify will automatically apply these policies for each defined business process, including user account, user termination and permanent termination settings, group membership, archiving user account, and archiving user home folder and data.
