SOYO Hires Director of Sales for Honeywell Brands of Products


ONTARIO, Calif., Jan. 17, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- SOYO Inc. (OTCBB:SOYO), an innovative provider of computer and consumer electronics products, today announced that they have hired Mr. Terry Spencer as their in-house Director of Sales for the Honeywell Brand of Consumer Electronics Products.

Mr. Spencer is an industry veteran, with over 25 years of sales and brand management experience. He will serve as Director of Sales for the Honeywell Brand under the direction of Harvey Schneider, Director of Sales for all SOYO brands. In past assignments, Mr. Spencer has been responsible for opening new sales channels for specialty products and parts where no sales channels had previously existed. He has also worked to expand sales channels which were already in place, and been able to expand these channels on minimal budgets. Mr. Spencer has also worked on several "roll out teams" to introduce products to emerging markets and was also instrumental in the launch of THX Home Technology to consumer audio products. Before joining SOYO, Mr. Spencer was the Sales and Marketing Director at Retro Industries. He has also worked as the Western Region Sales Manager at Sony, the Western U.S. Sales Director at Kenwood and the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Nextar.
