Release of a Voting Rights announcement

On January 15, 2008 , UBS AG Zürich, Schweiz has informed us according to
Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares its Voting Rights on
Siemens Aktiengesellschaft, München, Deutschland, ISIN: DE0007236101, WKN:
723610, have exceeded the 3% limit of the Voting Rights on January 09, 2008
and now amount to 3.84% (this corresponds to 35062684 Voting Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 1 of the WpHG, 0.41% of
the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 3716158 Voting Rights) is to be
attributed to the company.
