Canyon Acres Welcomes Julie Schisler to Its Board of Directors


ANAHEIM HILLS, Calif., Jan. 22, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- CANYON ACRES CHILDREN AND FAMILY SERVICES, a charity organization committed to providing homes, care, treatment and supportive services for abused, neglected and emotionally troubled children and their families, today announced that Julie Schisler has joined its board of directors. Schisler is an associate in the Employment Law Department of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP, where she specializes in all aspects of employment law. Schisler has been actively involved with Canyon Acres for over 6 years, providing pro bono legal services and serving on Canyon Acres HR Committee.

Recently named as a "Rising Star" in the Southern California Super Lawyers 2006 edition, Schisler graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of California, Irvine, where she majored in Criminology, Law and Society and minored in Psychology and Social Behavior. Schisler went on to obtain her law degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
