Mohave State Bank Announces New VP/Senior Commercial Banker


LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz., Jan. 23, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- The Directors of Mohave State Bank, wholly owned subsidiary of State Bank Corp., are pleased to announce the hiring of Steve Slagle for the position of Vice President, Senior Commercial Banker. Mr. Slagle will join the Stockton Hill Road branch located in Kingman, AZ.

Mr. Slagle joins Mohave State Bank from Bank of Wyoming, Thermopolis, Wyoming, where he held the position as president for nine years. Mr. Slagle's banking experience includes bank management, commercial lending, and real estate lending. Previous to this, Mr. Slagle was Owner and President WYO - West Real Estate, Thermopolis, Wyoming for 5 years. With a strong community service background, Mr. Slagle has served on various boards such as Thermopolis Chamber of Commerce, Tri-County Board of Realtors, and Big Horn Enterprises. Mr. Slagle has been actively involved in the communities he has lived in and has volunteered with numerous organizations such as Hot Springs County Educational Endowment Foundation, Thermopolis Housing Committee, and Big Brothers, Big Sisters.

Mr. Slagle is married with two children and resides in Kingman, AZ.
