TALENTUM OYJ RELEASE 23 JANUARY 2008 AT 5.00 PM TALENTUM'S EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT - CHANGES AND APPOINTMENTS Talentum Oyj will be revising the working of its Executive Management in order to strengthen the exploitation of its expertise in publishing and synergistic benefits in Finland and Sweden. The Group's Executive Management as of 24 January 2008 will comprise Juha Blomster, Group's CEO Lasse Rosengren, Group General Counsel, Deputy CEO Christer Björk, General Manager (Talentum Sweden) Hanna Kivelä, Director (Nordic Online & IT) Kaisa Kokkonen, Group's CFO Mika Malin, Director (corporate strategic planning, marketing, book publishing) Pekka Seppänen, Director and Editor-in-Chief (journalism) Axel Östergren, CFO (Talentum Sweden) Mikko Saarela has been appointed director with responsibility for the publishing business's media sales and content sales in Finland. Sanna Myller, the Sales Director, will report to Mikko Saarela. Both Mikko Saarela and Sanna Myller are members of the Executive Team in Finland. All the above-mentioned people are already employed by Talentum. In line with its strategy, Talentum will be pursuing a channel-independent focus on the publishing business, and the aim of the revised working of the Executive Management is to increase the exploitation of synergistic benefits at the Nordic level in order to raise growth and profitability.
