EM.Sport Media AG extends Entertainment Segment sales process and revalues
segment business

Ismaning, January 23, 2008 – The Management Board of EM.Sport Media AG has
decided today to extend substantially the process for divestment of its
Entertainment Segment, which is currently at an advanced stage. The key
reason for this decision is the longer than expected sustained weakness in
demand for license products and new productions within the children’s and
youth entertainment sector, as well as the general current financial
crisis. Both of these factors have had a negative impact on the number of
offers, on the value of offers from and the refinancing options available
to those investors participating in negotiations.

At the same time, the assets available for divestment (cash-free/debt-free)
have been revalued as of today from ca. 90 million Euro to 40 million Euro.
While this does not impact the results of the continuing operations of the
Sports unit, it leads to a negative effect on the results of the
discontinued operations. The revaluation ist based on a fair market
valuation from a buyer perspective against the backdrop of reduced earnings
expectations. These result from an operational performance substantial
below plan, and a significant lower than expected performance of new
projects at the end of the fourth quarter 2007.

Group operating figures arising from continuing operations remain
unaffected, with the operating targets already issued for 2007 retaining
their validity.

As of now and until further notice, Entertainment division businesses will
continue under the management of Werner E. Klatten, CEO of EM.Sport Media
AG.
