Registration Begins for Arizona Middle School Science Bowl


PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwire - January 24, 2008) - Registration for Arizona's 2008 Middle School Science Bowl is now open to teams of four students and one sponsor coach. The deadline to register for the competition is February 15, 2008. Cost to register is $45 per team. To participate, students and coaches must register online at www.azsciencebowl.us.

The Arizona competition will take place on April 19, 2008. Teams will be competing for a fully paid trip to the U.S. Department of Energy's National Science Bowl® for Middle School Students in Denver, Colorado June 19 - 22, 2008.

The 2008 Middle School Science Bowl is co-sponsored by Arizona companies Televerde and Solugenix Corporation, and organized by the Arizona Technology Council. The winner of the 2007 competition was the Chandler Preparatory Academy team.
