NCC to build 165 rental apartments and pre-school in Uppsala

NCC Construction and Uppsalahem AB have entered into a partnering agreement
concerning the construction of 165 rental apartments and a pre-school at
Fyrisvallen in the Luthagen residential area, Uppsala. The order is worth
approximately SEK 160 million.


The apartments, which will range from one to five-room units, will comprise
between 37 and 113 square meters of floor space. All of the apartments will have
parquet flooring, tiled bathroom and hall flooring and a balcony or roof
terrace. The address will be Ringgatan 6. 

The apartments will be divided between two separate buildings, of which one will
include a four-section pre-school. 

Occupancy will commence in October 2008, with the final tenants moving in by
April 2009. The entire construction project, including landscaping around the
buildings, is scheduled for completion by June 2009. At most, about 60 people
will be employed in the project.

Partnering is a structured cooperation format applied in the construction
industry, whereby the developer, consultants and contractors jointly resolve
construction assignments through open and trusting cooperation in which each
party contributes complementary professional knowledge throughout all stages of
the project.

Order registration occurred during the fourth quarter of 2007.
