IT – Changes to the use of Bank Identifier Code (BIC) (07/08)

Both participants and submarkets have been given a Bank Identifier Code (BIC). We will remove the BIC information from the Copenhagen, Helsinki and Stockholm submarket information (XTP, Query Submarket 4.9.3.3 page 149 – see XTP-message below), because it doesn’t make sense to have BIC information on submarkets. 
OMX Member Services are at the same time running a project to secure that all participants are identified with correct BIC information.

We will remove the BIC information from the Submarkets (listed below) in SAXTST3 from 1st of February and from production from 31st of March.
