With effect from 1 February 2008 the Supervisory Board of the Graphit
Kropfmühl AG has appointed Mr. Achim Carstanjen (Dipl.-Wirtschaftsingenieur
- graduate in business engineering) as a new member to the Board of
Directors. Mr. Carstanjen has been working in the company since 1 July
2006, and has been manager of the graphite segment since
1 January 2007. Mr. Carstanjen will now manage the graphite segment as a
director.
