Munich / Grasbrunn, January 31, 2008  In fiscal 2007 Wirecard AG generated
EUR 133.8 million in preliminary Group sales revenues. Compared with the
previous years Group sales of EUR 81.9 million, this represents an
increase by roughly 63 percent. Preliminary earnings before interest and
taxes (EBIT) rose by around 78 percent to EUR 33.1 million, up from EUR
18.6 million in fiscal 2006.

Group sales revenues in the fourth quarter of 2007 came to EUR 40.0 million
according to preliminary results (Q4 2006: EUR 24.1 million). Preliminary
earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) in this period amount to EUR 10.5
million, corresponding to an increase over the figure for the previous-year
quarter (EUR 5.4 million) by 94 percent.

Against the backdrop of positive business trends, with an increase being
recorded in the B2B customer base to currently approx. 9,000 clients, and
the sustained level of growth in the market for online payment
transactions, the Management Board of Wirecard AG anticipates a substantial
increase in earnings (EBIT) for fiscal 2008 by more than 45 percent (or at
least EUR 48 million).

All results are preliminary. The consolidated annual financial statements
for fiscal 2007 will be published in April 2008.
