Telstra Europe provides a broad portfolio of data, voice, managed network and hosting solutions to more than 8,000 enterprise customers. Working with Foundry reseller, Matrix Communications, highly-resilient NetIron MLX metro routers have been installed throughout Telstra Europe's U.K. network points-of-presence (POPs).

All of Telstra Europe's Ethernet-based customers will be connected to the NetIron MLXs which, in turn, are linked to its core routers, with the majority of Telstra's POPs connected by 10 Gigabit per second fiber rings. Foundry's FastIron(r) SX Layer 2/3 switches have also been purchased for use in Telstra Europe's hosting centers for network management.
