EPOD Secures Conditional Approval for 10 Megawatt Solar Farm Installation in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada


RENO, Nev., Feb. 6, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- EPOD International Inc. (the "Company," "EPOD") (Pink Sheets:EPOI) (Frankfurt:EDU), a Grid-Integrated, eco-power utility and electric power systems provider, announced that it has received approval from Sudbury Hydro for the installation of a 10 Megawatt solar power facility to be located in the Sudbury, Ontario area. Sudbury Hydro will submit an application to Hydro One on the Company's behalf in order to obtain definitive approval for the site. EPOD estimates that the facility would generate aggregate revenue of approximately $150 million over a 20 year term. EPOD plans to continue to secure additional installation sites as part of its overall recurring revenue model. To date, the Company has obtained conditional approval for sites that could generate in aggregate of over $700 million of revenue over a 20-year term.
