Fabasoft AG (ISIN AT0000785407, WKN 922985, Prime Standard) announces
preliminary Group figures for the first nine months of the fiscal year
2007/2008 (1/4/2007-31/12/2007):

- Sales revenues EUR 16.5 million (EUR 16.1 million in the first nine
months of the fiscal year 2006/2007)
- EBITDA EUR 1.5 million (EUR 1.2 million in the first nine months of the
fiscal year 2006/2007)
- EBIT EUR -0.05 million (EUR -0.25 million in the first nine months of the
fiscal year 2006/2007)
- Cash flow from operating activities EUR -1.3 million (EUR -3.0 million in
the first nine months of the fiscal year 2006/2007)
- Cash and cash equivalents: EUR 18.1 million as of 31/12/2007 (EUR 17.0
million as of 31/12/2006)
- Number of employees: 192 as of 31/12/2007 (223 as of 31/12/2006)

Sales revenues amounted to EUR 6.6 million during the third quarter
(1/10/2007-31/12/2007) of the fiscal year 2007/2008 (EUR 6.7 million in the
same period of the previous year). The EBIT of the third quarter amounted
to EUR 1.0 million (EUR 0.4 million in the same period of the previous
year).

In order to gain a better insight into the earnings situation of the Group,
expenditure from foreign currency valuation amounting to EUR 193 tsd
(earnings EUR 87 tsd in the same period of the previous year) has been
transferred from other operating expenses to financial expenses. The
figures from the corresponding reporting period have been adjusted
accordingly. 

A number of licence deals that had originally been expected for the second
quarter of the fiscal year 2007/2008 have been closed and included in the
revenue figures for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2007/2008.
