The sales of AB Vilkyskiu pienine group for January 2008

The consolidated sales of the company for January 2008 amounted to 7.91 million
LTL (2.29 million EUR) - 20% decrease comparing to January 2007.The sales of the
company for last 12 months (February 2007 - January 2008)amounted to 133.3
million LTL (38.6 million EUR) - 11.3% increase comparing to the same period
last year (February 2006 - January 2007).

This year‘s decreased sales comparing with the last year‘s were caused by the
decreased production demand in the export markets. In turn the demand changes
were caused by the increased production prices. „The situation should change
because the falling raw milk prices in the world market would stabilize the
production prices and the demand will come up“, - said Gintaras Bertasius, the
general director of Vilkyskiu pienine.

A significant part of Vilkyskiu pienine sales come from sales of the fresh
cream. Meeting the cream price decrease Vilkyskiu pienine more focused on the
butter production, but the sales results will come later“, - said G. Bertasius.
Because of the changing raw milk and production prices we limit our sales
expecting the more favourable situation in the market. Therefore the first
quarter or half a year activity results will correspond the reality“, -
explained G. Bertasius.
