KONECRANES WINS REPEAT ORDER FOR STS CRANE FROM STEVECO IN FINLAND
In February 2008, Konecranes received an order for one ship-to-shore (STS) crane
from Finnish container terminal operator Steveco. The crane will be delivered to
Steveco's container terminal in Vuosaari in Finland during spring 2009. The
recently ordered STS crane is similar to the one ordered by Steveco in July
2007, which will be delivered to Steveco's terminal in Vuosaari in summer 2008.
The parties have agreed not to disclose the value of the order.
Steveco is a long-standing customer of Konecranes; the company has several types
of Konecranes cranes at its container terminal in Mussalo. Steveco will open its
new container terminal in Vuosaari in November 2008 for traffic. Steveco is
expecting fast growth in container traffic in the Vuosaari port and is therefore
investing in additional equipment. The Konecranes STS cranes will be an
essential part of terminal operations.

The recently ordered Panamax STS crane is a BoxHunter crane that enables fast
and precise positioning of containers and ensures efficient operations. It has a
lifting capacity of 50 tonnes and an outreach of 39 meters. The crane design
allows containers to be stored under the crane.
