A record number of registrants -- approaching 300 -- representing more than 87 electric, gas and water utilities from around the world, as well as 27 Telvent business partners, will be sharing their implementations and experiences using the Telvent's ArcFM(tm) Enterprise GIS Solution.
Among this year's highlights are demonstrations of the functional enhancements of ArcFM Solution 9.2.1, the latest version of ArcFM products released by Telvent in January 2008, as well as updates on future releases.
In addition, Telvent's User Group will share with participating electric utilities how to optimize energy efficiency by using Telvent's Smart Grid Solution (SGS) suite to improve service quality, reduce the frequency and duration of outages and reduce operating expenses by means of a real-time and effective integration of the three components of SGS; Smart Operations (SCADA, DMS, FMS, OMS and GIS), Smart Metering (AMI, MDM and MOM)) and Smart Network (RTUs).
