AB Vilkyškių pieninė in 2007 exported to Russia 1340 tones of cheese, which amounte to 17 % of the total company‘s cheese sales. Last week the managers of the company participated at the international fair „Prodexpo 2008“ in Moscow. At the biggest international food fair in the Eastern Europe the exhibitors from 65 countries presented their production. After the visit of „Prodexpo 2008“ the company‘s general director Gintaras Bertašius forecasts that this year Vilkyškių pieninė will successfully expand the export to Russia and plans to double it to 2500 tones.
