Regarding preliminary, unaudited result of AB Ukio bankas group for the financial year 2007

Unaudited net profit of AB Ukio bankas group for the year 2007 is LTL 75.4
million (EUR 21.8 million). The planned result of LTL 63 million (EUR 18.2
million) was exceeded almost by 20 per cent mainly because of the increase of
the profit of AB Ukio bankas. As already announced, main reasons that
caused faster than planned increase of the profit of AB Ukio bankas were:
increased volume of assets, increased number of customers and operations,
reversal of provisions formed against several large positions.
