MEDIA ADVISORY: City National Bank to Donate Books, Furniture and More to Jerome D. Mack Middle School Library as Part of 'Nevada Reading Week' Celebration


LAS VEGAS, Feb. 21, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- City National Bank executives will join with Clark County School District and Jerome D. Mack Middle School officials at a library dedication ceremony at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2008. The bank will be donating books, furniture and more to Mack Middle School as part of the dedicatory event in the school's library located at 4250 Karen Avenue in southeast Las Vegas. This new educational partnership with Mack Middle School is also part of the bank's Nevada Reading Week activities that will take place at various elementary schools throughout the state.

In addition to the bank's generous donations, City National colleagues will be taking part in Nevada Reading Week by reading to students at five at-risk elementary schools the bank has adopted throughout Nevada. Approximately 100 bank colleagues will be visiting elementary schools in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Reno, Carson City, and Minden/Gardnerville to read to students from brand new books the bank will be donating to each school during the week of February 25.
