Technopolis Plc and the City of Kuopio have today signed the deed of sale of the shares of Kuopion Teknologiakeskus Teknia Oy and closed the transaction. The transaction price, to be paid in cash, is EUR 18.1 million based on Teknia's net debt position on September 30, 2007. Teknia's net debts totaled EUR 49.2 million on September 30, 2007. After this transaction and the simultaneous acquisition of the shares held by the Municipality of Siilinjärvi, Technopolis holds 100 percent of Teknia's shares.
