The Supervisory Board of Leica Camera AG today removed Steven K. Lee as
member and Chairman of the Board of Management of Leica Camera AG with
immediate effect.
At the same time the Supervisory Board appointed Dr. Andreas Kaufmann
additional member of the Board of Management and Chairman of the Board of
Management for the period until February 28, 2009. For the time being Dr.
Andreas Kaufmann will be in charge of the Company jointly with Andreas
Lobejäger. Dr. Kaufmann holds sole power of representation of the
Company.
