2008, they have exceeded the threshold of 5% of the voting rights in
LANXESS AG and hold 5.20% of the voting rights. This corresponds to
4,323,549 voting rights.
All voting rights are in their entirety attributed to AXA S.A. pursuant to
section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no 6 in conjunction with sentence 2 WpHG.
AllianceBernstein L.P., New York, USA, informed us according to section 21,
paragraph 1 of the German Securities Trading Act that as of February 17,
2008, they have exceeded the threshold of 3% of the voting rights in
LANXESS AG and hold 3.33% of the voting rights. This corresponds to
2,766,943 voting rights.
