Dr Mirko Kovats, Wien informed us on 21 February 2008 pursuant to Section

paragraph 1 German Securities Trading Act that

his voting interest in Norddeutsche Affinerie Aktiengesellschaft with
registered office in Hamburg and recorded in the commercial register of the
Hamburg district court under HRB 1775 had exceeded the thresholds of 3, 5
and 10 % on 15 June 2007 and amounted to 10.00045 % at that time,
representing 3,715,600 voting rights. Pursuant to Section 22 paragraph 1
sentence 1 no. 1 German Securities Trading Act, 10.00045 % of the voting
rights (3,715,600 voting rights) is attributed to Dr Mirko Kovats, Wien via

M.U.S.T. Privatstiftung, Wien as well as

A-Tec Industries AG, Wien;

his voting interest in Norddeutsche Affinerie Aktiengesellschaft, Hamburg
had exceeded the threshold of 15 % on 27 June 2007 and amounted to 15.1277
% at that time, representing 5,620,600 voting rights. Pursuant to
Section 22 paragraph 1 sentence no. 1 German Securities Trading Act,
15.1277 % of the voting rights (5,620,600 voting rights) is attributed
to Dr Mirko Kovats, Wien via

M.U.S.T. Privatstiftung, Wien as well as

A-Tec Industries AG, Wien;

his voting interest in Norddeutsche Affinerie Aktiengesellschaft, Hamburg
had fallen below the threshold of 15 % on 9 November 2007 and amounted to
13.75 % at that time, representing 5,621,447 voting rights. Pursuant to
Section 22 paragraph 1 sentence no. 1 German Securities Trading Act, 13.75
% of the voting rights (5,621,447 voting rights) is attributed to Dr Mirko
Kovats, Wien via

M.U.S.T. Privatstiftung, Wien,

A-Tec Industries AG, Wien as well as

A-Tec Investment GmbH, Düsseldorf.
