TALENTUM OYJ STARTS ACQUISITION OF OWN SHARES

The Board of Directors of Talentum Oyj, on the basis of an authorization
granted by the Annual General Meeting on March 27, 2007, has decided to acquire
a maximum of 500,000 of the company's own shares, which corresponds to about
1.13 per cent of the company's entire share capital. The shares will be
acquired with the company's distributable earnings, thus reducing the company's
distributable unrestricted equity.

The shares will be acquired in public trading on the OMX Nordic Exchange
Helsinki at the purchase-day price as has been enacted in legislation on the
acquisition of shares in public trading.

The company's own shares will be acquired for use as the consideration in
possible corporate acquisitions and other arrangements when the company is
acquiring assets relevant to its operating activities and for developing the
company's main structure including the possible further assignment and
cancellation of shares. There is, therefore, a pressing financial reason for
acquiring the shares.

The acquisition of the shares will begin at the earliest a week after the
announcement of the decision by the Board of Directors and it will terminate at
the latest on June 30, 2008. The acquisition of shares after March 27, 2008 is
subject to the sufficient new authorisation by the AGM to the Board of
Directors, in which case the acquisition will be made under the new
authorisation.

The company holds 181,000 of its own shares at this moment.

The shares will be acquired within the framework of a purchasing programme in
accordance with section 5 of Helsinki Stock Exchange's regulation on the
acquisition of own shares and otherwise in accordance with stock exchange
regulations applying to the acquisition of own shares.
