Corresponding to the resolution of the Supervisory Council of JSC Ventspils nafta, Olga Pētersone who will continue fulfilling the duties of the Chairperson of the Management Board, Legal Director Ilva Purēna, Investment Director Normunds Staņēvičs and Guntis Tīrmanis were elected to work at the Management Board of JSC Ventspils nafta for a term of three years as from February 26, 2008. JSC Ventspils nafta is the central holding company of multi-branch concern and its operational purpose is to manage the investments of several subsidiary companies by promoting joint values of the concern and the growth in the value of each subsidiary company. The JSC Ventspils nafta concern is working in the following directions: transshipment of crude oil and petroleum products, transport of crude oil and petroleum products by pipeline, real estate management, printing, publishing and navigation.
