ATLANTA, Feb. 29, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Verso Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:VRSO), a global provider of next generation networks, announced today that it has paid the $730,000 of accrued interest in accordance with the terms of the amendment to its Loan and Security Agreement with Clarent Corporation, which was entered into on February 15, 2008. As a result of this payment, the due date of the final amounts owing to Clarent Corporation has been extended by six months to August 12, 2008. The amendment remains subject to the approval of the court having jurisdiction over the Clarent Corporation estate.
