Nominations committee proposes candidates for election to Board of Semcon AB
(publ.)

At the Annual General Meeting to be held on 24 April 2008, Semcon AB's
nominations committee will propose the following candidates for election to the
Board of Semcon AB.

Re-election:

Hans-Erik Andersson, Chairman 
Kjell Nilsson, CEO and Board member
Gunvor Engström, Board member
First-time election:

Marianne Brismar 
Jorma Halonen 
Håkan Larsson

If elected by the AGM, the new Board members will bring additional competence
and experience to the Board in line with the company's new direction within
engineering and technical information. They all have valuable experience of
global business and good knowledge of Semcon.

Personal details 
Marianne Brismar (born 1961) previously CEO of Atlet AB 1995-2007. Board member
of Atlet AB and Eco-Boråstapeter AB.

Jorma Halonen (born 1948) is deputy CEO of AB Volvo and acting President of the
Volvo Group since 2004. He was CEO of Volvo Trucks, 2001-2004, and he had a
career within Scania, 1990-2001. He joined Volvo in 2001 and has been a member
of the senior executive team of the Volvo Group since 2002. He is chairman of
the board of Nissan Diesel.

Håkan Larsson (born 1947) formerly CEO of Rederi AB Transatlantic, 2003-2007. He
was previously CEO of Schenker AG. He has the following board assignments:
Chairman of Consafe Logistics Holding AB, Nimbus Boats AB, and Schenker AB.
Board member of Bure Equity AB, Chalmers Tekniska Högskola, Ernströmsgruppen AB,
Handelsbanken Region Väst, Rederi AB Transatlantic, and Wallenius Lines AB.
