Chart Announces Next Generation Cyl-Tel Gauge for Microbulk Market


CLEVELAND, March 5, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Chart Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq:GTLS) Distribution and Storage Group ("Chart D&S") announced today its next generation Cyl-Tel electronic level indicator and telemetry device designed exclusively for the Chart D&S Perma-Cyl(r) product line. Developed in cooperation with DataOnline LLC ("DataOnline"), located in Berkeley Heights, NJ, the new Cyl-Tel Universal gauge has a modular design that allows the user to select the level of technology needed for each installation. Optional cellular radios and hard-wired phone modem circuits are available directly from DataOnline to upgrade the Cyl-Tel Universal gauge to a Cyl-Tel(2) gauge. Additionally, the DataOnline hard-wired phone modem can be purchased pre-installed in the Cyl-Tel Universal gauge on new Perma-Cyl tanks from Chart D&S's manufacturing facilities. Once upgraded, the Cyl-Tel(2) transmits to a secure website hosted by DataOnline for easy tank level retrieval.
