PERGO TAKES STEP TO PROTECT ITS VARIOUS PATENT RIGHTS AND FILES U.S. PATENT
INFRINGEMENT ACTION AGAINST UNILIN

Trelleborg – March 5, 2008. Pergo (Europe) AB and Pergo LLC have today
initiated an action for patent infringement against Unilin Beheer, B.V.,
Flooring Industries Ltd. SARL and Unilin Flooring N.C. in North Carolina,
USA. The action charges the Unilin companies with infringement of Pergo's
U.S. Patents protecting pioneering Pergo inventions such as tight glue-less
mechanically locking joints for flooring, traditional laminate moldings,
the 4in1 moldings, digital printing, embossed in register and end block
matching.

The complaint requests an injunction, damages and costs.   

The action is part of Pergo’s intellectual property strategy, according to
which it will no longer be possible to utilize Pergo's pioneering
inventions without paying royalty to Pergo.

The action charges Unilin with infringement of 13 Pergo U.S.
Patents.
