Strong revenue growth supported by structural changes

Hamburg, March 7, 2008 – KROMI Logistik AG (German Securities Code (WKN)
A0KFUJ, ISIN DE000A0KFUJ5), Germany's first tool management provider to
operate independently of a specific manufacturer, has added another expert
to its highly successful management team. Werner Hayen (56) will be the
company's head of tax and accounting with immediate effect. He has already
been working with KROMI since 1985 as an external tax adviser and has thus
had close links with the company for many years. Mr. Hayen will be
responsible for financial and management accounting, tax and financial
control, reporting directly to the CFO.

'Our strong international growth and the increased demands on us as a
company listed in the Prime Standard - and for quarterly reporting in
particular - meant that we had to reinforce our tax and accounting
department,' commented Uwe Pfeiffer, KROMI's CFO. 'We are very pleased that
we have been able to convince Mr. Hayen to find a successor for his tax
consultancy, allowing him to devote all of his attention to KROMI. This
also allows us to perform other tasks within the company that we had
previously outsourced.'

Werner Hayen is also looking forward to his new position. 'I am fascinated
by KROMI's business concept: I am utterly convinced by the company's growth
over the past few years from being a pure trading company to become a
listed end-to-end tool management company for the machining industry,' he
commented.

Company profile:
KROMI Logistik AG, as a manufacturer-independent tool provider, offers
producing companies an integrated supply of precision tools. In particular,
KROMI provides technically challenging chip removal tools (abrasion and
bracket tools) for metal and plastic processing. The Company combines
classical tool trading with a peripheral tool supply that includes output
machines in the customer’s production area and an IT-based tool management
and controlling system. The objective of KROMI’s business operations is to
effectively optimize the supply of tools for its clients and to secure the
availability of the appropriate tools at the right time and at the right
place. The company currently has five locations in Germany and two abroad
(Slovakia and now also the Czech Republic), and also is represented by
selling agents in two other Eastern European countries. KROMI concentrates
primarily on clients in the engine construction, aerospace and automotive
supplier industries. In 2006/2007, the company generated revenues of EUR
32.2 million, an EBIT of EUR 2.4 million and a net profit of EUR 1.5
million. KROMI Logistik AG has its roots in Krollmann & Mittelstädt GmbH,
now known as Tarpenring 11 Vermögensverwaltungs GmbH. It was spun off from
this company on November 1, 2002 together with Krollmann & Mittelstädt
Hamburg GmbH.
