(Nasdaq:OPNT), a leading provider of solutions for managing networks and applications, today announced a new channel program designed to increase the penetration of OPNET solutions among mid-size IT enterprises. The SYNERGY program will enlist a broad range of sales and services organizations.
Initially, the SYNERGY program will focus on OPNET's ACE Live solution. ACE Live leverages technology acquired from Network Physics in October 2007 that provides end user experience monitoring and real-time application performance analytics. ACE Live enables both mid-size companies and global enterprises to proactively detect response time problems for faster diagnosis and resolution, thereby minimizing business impact.

The launch of OPNET's SYNERGY channel program coincides with a realignment of OPNET's worldwide distribution partnership with Cisco Systems. Under the new partnership structure, OPNET's solutions will be distributed as OPNET-branded solutions. Under the previous arrangement, OPNET's solutions were distributed under the Cisco brand.
